When I was living in japan I went to a temple that had a memorial to the Kamikaze pilots. In that memorial was a photograph of all of them together. And it struck me that, they were just kids, early adult really but still. I was 20 at the time. So I tealized that they were around my age. Looking back a decade later, *I* looked like I was 12 despite the military uniform. And so did they. We were both patriots them and I, seperated thru time but not so different. And its sad.
